ILIGAN CITY- All private and public cemeteries, memorial parks, and columbariums will be closed from Oct. 29 to Nov. 4, 2020, to prevent the spread of Covid-19 during the observance of the Undas season.

This is in compliance with the National Inter-Agency Task Force (NIATF) Resolution No. 72, which aims to enhance public health and safety protocols and to prevent mass gatherings during the annual celebration of “Undas” (respect for the dead), and other related regulations as preventive measures against the further spread of Covid-19 in Iligan City.

The public could visit these places before or after the scheduled closure of the cemeteries with a maximum venue capacity of 30 percent.

Iliganons are encouraged to consider alternative dates to visit the public cemeteries before October 29 to November 4.
The wearing of face masks and face shields, disinfection or use of 70% alcohol, and the observance of physical distancing will be required.

Furthermore, the Economic Enterprise Development and Management Office (EEDMO) encouraging the concerned public to settle their obligations like burial fees and lot rentals at their office located at Central Market, Building A 2nd Floor beside Sport Amusement Center.
