As one with the people of Brgy. Buru-un in celebration of their 61st Founding Anniversary, OIC – City Director Maria Maida Daniot highlighted the important role that each citizen plays and the collective efforts that they can contribute in helping maintain peace and order, and cleanliness to preserve their community for the generations to come.
With this year’s theme, “Duyog sa Kalamboan, Birada Buru-un!” the program was held this morning at the open grounds of Sgt. Miguel Canoy Memorial Central School, showcasing the groovy performances of both teaching and non-teaching staff from various participating schools and their very own barangay and SK council members.
In her message, she underscored the Halina’t Magtanim ng Prutas at Gulay (HAPAG) sa Barangay Project, in support to the thrust of the current administration and cognizant of the role of barangays as essential partners of the national government in contributing to addressing hunger, and ensuring food security in the country.
