The DILG Regional Office 10, along with the support from other oversight agencies (DBM, CSC, NEDA, BLGF) conducted a 1-day regional fora on devolution last November 9, 2022 at the Mahogany Hills, Iligan City.

The activity convenes a series of consultations to facilitate harmonization of the Devolution Transition Plans (DTPs) of the LGUs and National Government Agencies (DA, DTI, DOT, POPCOM, NIA, DOH) and providing a collaborative avenue to (1) align appreciation of insights from LGU-DTP analytics and status assessment of the NGA-DTPs; (2) Present the NGA PAPs for the LGUs in the region; and (3) identify strategic next steps for the harmonization processes of DTPs of NGAs and LGUs.

Discussions that highlight the smooth implementation of the NGA and LGU DTPs, pursuant to the Mandanas-Garcia Supreme Court Ruling and Executive Order No. 138 on Full Devolution were carried out by the NGAs through their regional offices.

Alongside the City LGU representatives, Acting Program Manager Villebette Sato and LGOO Mohammad Rehan Raopan participated in the activity to represent the DILG Iligan City File Office.

As secretariat, DILG Iligan City in partnership with the DILG Lanao del Norte Provincial Office spearheaded the conduct of the activity participated by various Local Chief Executives (LCEs) and LGU functionaries from both Iligan city and municipalities across the province. (𝘋𝘐𝘓𝘎 𝘐𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘢𝘯 | 𝘔. 𝘙𝘢𝘰𝘱𝘢𝘯)
