The City Government of Iligan conducted its first Strategic Planning to craft the Executive Agenda last week, August 11 at Baungon, Bukidnon. Speakers from national government agencies were in attendance including DILG OIC City Director Maria Maida Daniot who discussed the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) parameters and the different local governance audits.
The data presented by City Director Daniot is substantial for the new administration to identify and address gaps in local governance. The Executive Agenda states the priorities of the incumbent city mayor. It also highlights LGU initiatives that support the identified development goals, objectives, and strategies from the Comprehensive Development Plan process and those supporting National Government priorities.
