The Philippine National Police of Iligan City launched last October 3rd the revitalized KASIMBAYANAN (Kapulisan, Simbahan at Pamayanan), the advocacy aimed to forge solid police-community relations with the general public and faith-based organizations through collaborative partnerships anchored under the PNP’s Malasakit, Kaayusan, Kapayapaan Tungo sa Kaunlaran Program. The launching was attended by the heads of local faith-based groups and DILG Local Government Operations Officer V Vel Brylle Inot representing OIC City Director Maria Maida Daniot.

“The highlight of this partnership is synergy – which is the interaction or cooperation of two or more organizations to produce a combined effect greater than what can be achieved separately. The KASIMBAYANAN is an example of such synergy and is one that the DILG will always support as the PNP has always been our partner in our mandate to ensure public safety,” said LGOO Inot on behalf of City Director Daniot.
In response to the messages of support of the KASIMBAYANAN partners, PNP City Director Dominador Estrada expressed his gratitude for giving their steadfast commitment to the local police force in keeping the peace and progress in Iligan City.
