To ensure quality output in the formulation of the Capacity Development Agenda (CapDev Agenda), a 3-day training-workshop was held last October 3-5, 2022 at N Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City.
The said activity was participated by various DILG personnel and LGU functionaries coming from nine different cities and municipalities across region 10, including representatives from both DILG Iligan and Iligan City Government.
In her opening message, LGOO VII and LGCDD Division Chief, Hazel L. Oceña, introduced the LGU Capacity Assessment and CapDev Agenda Formulation Toolkit to the participants and its role in analyzing the capacity improvement needs of LGUs and identifying appropriate capacity development interventions to address these needs. Further, she also emphasized that the CapDev Agenda is a component of the Comprehensive Development Plan.
Facilitated by the training management team from the Local Government Capacity Development Division (LGCDD) of the DILG Region 10, the activity highlights a series of workshops that include presentation of outputs supplemented by critiquing and mentoring from invited resource speakers from different DILG Field Offices.
