In the afternoon of September 21, 2020 , operatives of PDEA Camiguin Provincial Office, PDEA Lanao del Norte Provincial Office, Iligan City Police Office Station 1, and PNP Special Operations Unit 6, jointly conducted an entrapment operation and dismantling of a drug den at Vicenta Sheker St. corner Milestone Drive, Brgy. San Miguel, Iligan City that resulted to the successful arrest of five (5) drug personalities and the confiscation of Sixty-Eight Thousand Pesos (PhP 68,000.00) worth estimated market value of shabu.
The arrested suspects were identified as (1) Lindo Barredo Tupag, 43 years old, owner and maintainer of the drug den; (2) Jenifer Almason Navarro, 40 years old, a resident of Tambacan, Iligan City; (3) Junie Lausa Galanque, 29 years old, a resident of Brgy. Tibanga, Iligan City, (4) Mae Heizel Olana Oblad, 37 years old, a resident of Brgy. Tag-ibo, Iligan City; and (5) Patrick Tanyo Mendez, 40 years old and a resident of Tambacan, Iligan City. Lindo Tupag is a known drug personality and a priority person of interest against the drug law enforcers in the City.
Further, pieces of drug evidence were forwarded to PDEA ROX Laboratory Office for qualitative and quantitative examination while the arrested suspects are temporarily detained at PDEA ROX detention facility for booking and documentation. Cases for violation of RA 9165 are being prepared for filing in court against the suspects.
