What is Cosplay? 💭
Cosplay is a performance art in which the participants dress in costumes and make-up, representing characters from television, film, anime, books and video games. In addition to creating authentic costumes, the cosplayers also act in character and are usually subject matter experts on the characters they are replicating.
The LGU’s tourism office has already prepared programs for our traditional and cultural artists so we are hosting this family friendly and fun event as a new avenue for underappreciated talents, makeup artists, performers, costume designers, creators and photographers in the world of cosplay.
