ILIGAN CITY, November 29, 2022 – The Local Government Unit of Iligan City, as part of its commitment to Executive Order 70, conducted the Hatud Serbisyo Program at Sitio Limunsodan, Barangay Rogongon, one of the RCSP target barangays of the City.

Basic medical and dental services, libreng tuli, libreng gupit, and distribution of food packs, slippers, medicine, hygiene kits, and school supplies, were some of the activities enjoyed by the residents of the said beneficiary barangay.

“Peace and Order and Public Safety is not just a military concern; it is a symptom of broader economic, social, and governance issues which can only be addressed through good governance,” emphasizes DILG OIC City Director Maria Maida B. Daniot to the community.

The Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) is part of the government’s convergence mechanism for the identification of issues in villages affected by insurgency and also for government actions to be taken to address them. It also aims to develop people’s capability to organize themselves and their own development by bringing about value-chain interventions to uplift their current conditions. (𝘋𝘐𝘓𝘎 𝘐𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘢𝘯 | 𝘔. 𝘙𝘢𝘰𝘱𝘢𝘯)
