The City Anti-Drug Abuse Council members met to discuss the preparation for the upcoming DAPC week 2022.
Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 124, dated November 26, 2001, the third week of November has been declared as Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Week to promote public awareness against the evil effects of illegal drug use as well as encourage public cooperation in the anti-drug campaign.
This year’s theme, “Addressing Drug Challenges in Health and Humanitarian Crises #CareInCrises” emphasizes the importance of combating disinformation campaigns about illegal drugs that can harm the public.
Series of activities are prepared by ICADAC office for the DAPC week celebration which will commence on November 21, 2022. DILG OIC City Director emphasizes the educational aspect of the celebration to promote public awareness against the evil effects of illegal drug use as well as encourage public cooperation in the anti-drug campaign.
