ILIGAN CITY (PIA) – Sales for the Kadiwa ng Pasko (KnP) here reached P240,369.35 for selling affordable rice, vegetables, and other food essentials.

The KnP stores also offered more affordable noche buena products in time for the holiday season.

“Para mahatagan pod ug discounted items ang mga residente para maselebrar nato nag pasko basin medjo pit-os ang atong panudlanan,” said Glenn Villacin, executive director of the Iligan Investment, Incentives and Promotion Center.

(This is to offer discounted items for us to celebrate Christmas even if our budget is tight.)

Other than agricultural produce, basic necessities and prime commodities were also sold.

“Kani nga Kadiwa sa Illigan nagfeature sa Diskwento Caravan. Ang mga baligya dili lang agri products but also basic necessities and prime commodities nga ginamonitor or under jurisdiction sa DTI,” said Jane Marie Tabucan, provincial director, DTI Lanao del Norte.

(This Kadiwa in Iligan has features of Diskwento Caravan. Agricultural products are not only sold but also basic necessities and prime commodities that we monitor or under the jurisdiction of DTI.)

Sellers that participated include National Food Authority, Mega Soft Hygienic Products, Inc., City Agriculture’s Office, Fast Distribution Corporation /SBG, Kalbe International, A & A Krafts Printing Services, Golden Star and Mr. DIY. (LELAntonio/PIA-10/Lanao del Norte)
