With confirmation and conviction, everyone is encouraged to limit movements, external to home, unless it is for work or to buy necessities, because of the upsurge of COVID-19 through local transmission.
EO#91 limits the movement of all residents and non-residents within this city by imposing the use of “Quarantine Passes (without color coding).”
Quarantine Passes (without color coding) shall be used strictly for purchasing essential goods and services, unless there is a need to leave home due to some indispensable reasons and/or emergencies. Office work or industries are still permitted to operate. For those who are working, please have your company identification card readily available if and when you are stopped at anytime and most especially at any of Iligan City’s checkpoints.
Please note that Iligan City is still under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ for brevity) but have placed certain restrictions on the movement of people.
For our patients who’ve acquired Covid19 through local transmission, contact tracing is still on-going. The City of Iligan is relentless in our fight with Covid19, but we, as a community and as a city, must be one.
In closing, the use of “Quarantine Passes (without color coding)” will only be lifted through the recommendation of our health experts, doctors and Iligan City’s IATF’s. Until then, this is our new normal. Keep safe everyone.
