P/CDT JOHN KENNETH FLORENTINO came from the lands of PUROK 8, TIPANOY, ILIGAN CITY, LANAO DEL NORTE, REGION 10. He is the loving son of Efren and Eden Florentino.
Before becoming a refined individual of the Philippine National Police Academy, he already displayed enormous efforts both in academics and sports. Evident to that are his meritorious awards having been the Athlete of the Year both in his primary education at TIPANOY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL and his secondary education at ILIGAN CITY NATIONAL HIGHSCHOOL.
His days in College resemble his burning passion to always do his best in his class. At SAINT MICHAEL’S COLLEGE, he took up BS in Criminology and garnered the Latin Honor of Cum Laude dubbed as ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AWARD – TOPNOTCHER for two consecutive years. Fueled with dreams and aspirations, inside the Academy, he was all-time contender for TOP 10 as his grades never went below the average. Showcasing his strong sense of discipline, he was also once awarded as “Commandant’s Lister”, a high recognition for the strongest cadets in the long maroon line. As a cadet, he was a member of the Silent Drillers of Class 2021, Marathon and Baseball Corps Squad.
A man of distinction, the TOP 5 of HINIRANG Class of 2021 is also recognized as the Best in Forensics subject, highlighting his critical thinking prowess in the field of investigation. Now, he is finally ready to serve the Filipino people and mark a new beginning as a respectable police officer.
