Police Regional Office 10 – Iligan City Police Station 5 on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 successfully implemented a search warrant that resulted in the arrest of the accused, marking a significant victory in the ongoing fight against crime in the community.

Personnel of ICPS5 arrested the accused and identified as Ronald B. Caliao, a High-Value Individual, 46 years old, married, and a resident of Purok 2, Brgy. Saray, Iligan City.

During the search, police seized significant evidence such as 45 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu weighing more or less 20.74 grams with an estimated Standard Drug Price of PhP141,032.00.

The accused is now under the custodial facility for proper disposition. A case for violation of Section 11 of Article II of R.A. No. 9165 is being prepared against the accused. All seized drug items are properly turned over at PNP City Crime Laboratory, Tipanoy Iligan City for qualitative and quantitative examinations.
