The Executive Management Board of the National Arts Month, under the leadership of its Chairwoman Hanna Mae T. Padilla, is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the Iligan Cosplay Contest 2023. This event is one of the major activities of the National Arts Month this whole month of February. This was spearheaded by the esteemed city councilor, Atty. Marlene L. Young.
Cosplay, a delightful fusion of the terms “costume” and “play”, has captivated audiences worldwide as a stunning artistic expression of beloved anime characters. With contestants hailing from all over Northern Mindanao, the Iligan Cosplay Contest 2023 showcased the unique artistic styles and creative costume designs of its participants.
The event was held in celebration of the National Arts Month, a celebration of the rich artistic heritage of the Philippines. Robinsons Place Iligan was abuzz with excitement on February 25 as more than 30 talented individuals vied for the top spot across various cosplay categories.
The Executive Management Board of the National Arts Month extends its gratitude to all the participants for their outstanding contributions to the contest, and extends its heartfelt congratulations to all the winners!
