Worth Thirty-Four Thousand Pesos (Php34, 000.00) of suspected shabu was seized by joint operatives of PDEA ROX, NBI Iligan City District, Iligan City Police Office Station-5 and Iligan CIB during a buy-bust operation conducted late afternoon of August 2, 2020, at GK Village Barangay Tibanga, Iligan City
The arrested suspects were identified as Mc Crissent Jabelosa Lopez, 29 years old, male, single, and a resident of Purok Lourdes, Barangay Tubod, Iligan City and Cristopher Cabacang Arada, 40 years old, male, single and a resident of Purok 2-A, Barangay Santiago, Iligan City. Both are known drug personality and priority persons of interest against the drug law enforcers in the Region.
On the other hand, pieces of drug evidence were forwarded to PDEA ROX Laboratory Office for qualitative and quantitative examination. While, criminal charges for violation of Section 5, Article II of RA 9165 are being prepared for filing before the honorable court against the arrested suspects.
