Another tip from a concerned citizen via Isumbong Mo Kay Wilkins led to the arrest of a priority drug personality and the confiscation of Thirty-Four Thousand Pesos (34,00.00 Php.) worth estimated market value of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation conducted this morning, September 10, 2021 at Purok 4A Brgy. Tambacan, Iligan City.
Suspect was identified as Ian Vermon Francia Gorres, of legal age and a resident of the above-mentioned place.
Gorres, will be facing charges for violation of RA 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
This successful anti-drug operation was jointly conducted by narcotic operatives from PDEA RO10 Lanao del Norte Provincial Office and its’ Seaport Interdiction Unit together with Iligan City Police Station-4, 1005th Regional Mobile Force Battalion (1005th RMFB), Iligan City Maritime Police Station (ICMARPSTA), Iligan City Police Office – City Intelligence Branch (ICPO-CIB), City Intelligence Unit (CIU), City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU), Regional Drug Enforcement Unit 10 (RDEU10), and Regional Intelligence Unit 10 (RIU10).
