ILIGAN CITY (PIA) – Employers here, in Marawi City, Lanao del Norte and Lanao del Sur that are trying to recover from financial losses brought on by the health pandemic can avail the Pandemic Relief and Restructuring Program (PRRP) of the Social Security System (SSS) Iligan Branch.

“Ang PRRP 3, mao ang enhanced installment program nga gioffer sa registered employers o household employers, kato dili makakaya ug bayad in full, and then wala other means bayaran insegeda ang ilang obligations,” said Nida Suezo, Section Head of Accounts Management System.

[PRRP 3 is an enhanced installment program offered to registered employers or household employers, who cannot afford to pay in full, and then have no other means to pay their obligations immediately.]

Under PRRP 3, employers may pay within nine to 60 months depending on the total amount of their obligation. The program is open for applicants until November 22, 2022.

There are more than 3,000 employers in Iligan City, Marawi City, Lanao del Norte and Lanao del Sur. Of this, 2,968 are intermittently paying employers, 142 are non-paying employers and 709 are regularly paying employers.

Hence, SSS reminds the establishments that are struggling to fulfil their SSS obligations to avail the PRRP 3. They are advised to coordinate with their assigned account officers. They can also visit their office on the 2nd Floor of SSS Iligan Branch on Tibanga Highway.

To date, there are five employers that have availed the PRRP 3.
