A successful buy-bust operation leads to the dismantling of a drug den was conducted early this afternoon March 2, 2023 at Purok 7A, Brgy. Tambacan, Iligan City with the confiscation of more or less Ten (10) grams of shabu with an estimated market value of Sixty-Eight Thousand Pesos (Php 68,000.00).
Arrested suspect was Macmod Radia, a drug den maintainer and a priority drug personality in the above-mentioned City. Also arrested were Omar Radia, Lawrence Liwalog, and Jerry Carballo. All were visitors of a drug den and residents of the said province.
Further, arrested suspects will be facing charges for violation of RA 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
This successful anti-drug operation was conducted by operatives of PDEA ROX Iligan-Lanao del Norte and PDEA ROX Seaport Interdiction Unit together with 1005th RMFB, and Iligan City Police Station 4.
