MSU Law (Main Campus-Marawi, Iligan and General Santos Extension Units) now accepts APPLICATIONS for the MSU Law Admission Test for A.Y. 2023-2024!

3. Original or authenticated copy of TOR or Certificate of Evaluation for Applicants Graduating this A.Y. 2022-2023

SUBMISSION PROCESS:
1. Scan all the requirements enumerated above;
2. Organize the scanned documents into a folder;
3. Name the folder with your complete name and your preferred campus, e.g., PRINCE ALI – MARAWI CAMPUS;
4. Send the folder via e-mail to the following institutional emails:
For Marawi (Main) Campus applicants: [email protected]

5. The subject of your email must contain your complete name and your preferred campus, e.g. PRINCE ALI – MARAWI CAMPUS.
Nota bene:
*The hard copies of the above documents shall be submitted before or on the day of the admission test.
*Applicants to the Marawi Campus may submit the hard copies of the above documents at the College of Law, MSU, Marawi City before or on the day of the admission test.

DEADLINE OF SUBMISSION:
The deadline of submission via email is on June 5, 2023 (Monday) for all campuses.
*IMPORTANT REMINDER: THE ILIGAN AND GENERAL SANTOS EXTENSION UNITS ARE PRIMARILY DESIGNED FOR WORKING STUDENTS ONLY.
THE ADMISSION TEST SHALL BE ADMINISTERED IN PERSON (FACE-TO-FACE) AT THE FOLLOWING TESTING CENTERS:
1. MSU COLLEGE OF LAW, Marawi City – For Main Campus and Iligan extension applicants
2. MSU-General Santos (Fatima campus) – For General Santos extension applicants

DATE AND TIME OF ADMISSION TEST:
1. For Marawi (Main Campus) and Iligan Extension – June 10, 2023 (Saturday)
Marawi campus applicants: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Iligan extension applicants: 9:00 AM to 12:00 nn
*Iligan extension applicants who may not be able to take the admission test in the morning schedule may still take the test in the afternoon schedule.
2. For General Santos extension – to be announced later.
MLAT FEES: PhP 500.00

FACE-TO-FACE PANEL INTERVIEW:
The schedule and venue of face-to-face panel interview shall be announced later after the qualifiers for the interview are determined.

EXEMPTIONS:
1. APPLICANTS WHO ARE TO BE AUTOMATICALLY ADMITTED TO THE MAIN CAMPUS (MARAWI):
a. Applicants with LATIN HONORS from MSU or other reputable university and who are qualified for the grant of Honor Graduate Eligibility by CSC, if their preferred campus is the Main Campus;
b. Foreign Service Officer Exam Passer;
c. Career Executive Service Eligible (CESE);
d. Doctor of Medicine who is a licensed Physician;
e. First to Tenth (1st – 10th) Placers in any PRC licensure examination;
f. First to Tenth (1st – 10th) Placers in the Special Shari’ah Bar Examinations.
g. At least ten (10) Ulama with reputable English literacy (1) who have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in an authorized and recognized university or college in the Philippines or (2) who have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in a Muslim university abroad with certificate of equivalency from Commission on Higher Education;

2. APPLICANTS WHO ARE EXEMPTED FROM THE MLAT BUT MUST STILL UNDERGO THE PANEL INTERVIEW ( This is for Main Campus Applicants ONLY)
a. Shari’ah bar passer with an average score of at least 80% not belonging to the top ten placers;
b. Ph.D graduate of MSUS or other reputable university;
c. Foreign Service Officer Exam – Qualifying test passer;
d. PRC licensure examination passer with a rating of at least 83% or better;
e. Civil Service Eligibility Exam Passer with a rating of at least 86% or better;
f. Former editor-in-chief of college level student publication in MSU or in other reputable university;
g. Former MSU Supreme Student Government Prime Minister or its equivalent in other reputable university;
h. Former Head/Chairperson/President/Captain of college-level debate society in MSU or its equivalent in other reputable university;
i. MSU University Leadership Awardee or its equivalent in other reputable university.
NOTA BENE: The applicants referred to in this article are still required to make full payment for the MLAT.

3. ALL APPLICANTS FOR ILIGAN AND GENERAL SANTOS EXTENSION UNITS SHALL TAKE THE ADMISSION TEST AND PANEL INTERVIEW.
