MODIFIED NATIONWIDE ACCOUNTING OF PENSIONERS LAUNCHED

The Philippine National Police has set in motion the 3rd Nationwide Accounting of the remaining 21,223 Pensioners who were not able to update in CY 2019 and failed to avail of the initial Nationwide Accounting with Biometrics from February 27 to March 13, 2020; and the ensuing updating from March 14 to May 11, 2020.

The CPNP, PGEN ARCHIE FRANCISCO F GAMBOA, ordered Police Colonel Arthur Bisnar, Acting Director of the PNP Retirement and Benefits Administration Service (PRBS) to modify and streamline the process of accounting of Pensioners to fit the New Normal; adhere to the community quarantine guidelines and protocols of the IATF-MEID; and protect our Pensioners who belong to the most at-risk and vulnerable age groups. Target date is June 7, 2020.

To make it more convenient and safe for Pensioners, Tracker (Track-care) Teams of the PROs and PRBS will be visiting them at their last known address. Minimum health standards and protocols shall also be observed.

A Memo Directive was issued by TDPRM, PMGEN REYNALDO G BIAY, on May 12, 2020 directing the PRBS and RMD-DPRM to provide the Service Record, and Absorption and Retirement Orders of the 21,223 Pensioners so as to reduce the documents required from them. Police Commissioned Officers will also administer the Affidavit of Undertaking in case a Notary Public is not available due to the quarantine.

Regional Directors of all PROs have already organized and deployed Pensioner Tracker Teams to locate, account and update the Pensioners. In a related development, RD-NCRPO, PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS activated the PRBS Satellite Office in NCR in Camp Bagong Diwa in Bicutan. Sub-Satellite Offices in the five (5) Police Districts will be subsequently organized.

Indicate in your SMS or text message, the Pensioner’s Name, (Name of the Deceased PNP Spouse, if applicable) and their current address.

As a reminder, the Landbank Pension Account of Pensioners who will not be accounted and updated by June 7, 2020 will be placed on “tag and hold” status. It means that pensions will continue to be credited to their Landbank Pension Accounts but they will be not able to withdraw until such time that they are accounted and updated.
