PCOL DOMINADOR N ESTRADA, City Director, Iligan City Police Office reported to PBGEN LAWRENCE BALDAN COOP, Regional Director PRO 10, regarding the accomplishment on Anti- Illegal Drugs Operation at Purok 5, Brgy. Saray, Iligan City.
Iligan City- At about 4:49 in the afternoon of February 7, 2023, Intel operative of ICPS-5/SDEU of this station led by PCPT JHONNIE BITUALLA under the supervision of the undersigned in coordination with PDEA Region 10, conducted a Buy-Bust Operation at Purok 5, Brgy. Saray, Iligan City that leads the arrest of CYRIL LABOR y CORDIGA ADDRESS: PUROK 4, SARAY, ILIGAN CITY, male, 29 years old, single, jobless and a resident of Purok 4, Brgy Saray, Iligan City. Bought from the suspect was one (1) piece small size heat -sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be “shabu” confiscated from the suspect possession and control during the operation were three(3) pcs small size heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be “shabu” and Five Hundred (Php 500.00) Peso Bill used as Buy-bust Money.
During the said operation Two (2) individual were trapped and caught in the act of sniffing illegal drugs identified as JOHN MICHAEL RAY CARPIO y OPORA, male, 27 years old, single, and a residence of Purok San Antonio, Brgy. Tubod, Iligan City, and CHERRY MAE BAULETE y BULLEDO, female, 28 years old, single, jobless and a resident of Purok Green Valley, Brgy. Tubod, Iligan City.
Suspects were not a member of any government beneficiaries. Total estimated weight of the confiscated drug items was 1.1 gram with a market value of Php7,840.00.
A criminal complaint for violation of Sections 5, 11 and 15, all of Article II, of RA 9165 is now being prepared against the suspect while the evidentiary value of confiscated pieces of evidence were properly preserved and personally turned over Arresting Police Officer at Iligan City Forensic Unit, Brgy Tipanoy, Iligan City for qualitative and quantitative examinations.
