A successful buy-bust operation and dismantling of a drug den was conducted on October 6, 2023 at Purok 3A, Brgy. Saray, Iligan City with the confiscation of more or less Ten (10) grams of shabu with an estimated market value of Sixty-Eight Thousand Pesos (Php68,000.00).
Arrested suspect wereJuben Cuervo @Bossing and Gerlie Actub @Inday, both were drug den maintainers. Also arrested were Juny Pernites, Romulo Canoy, amd Rey Romaguera, all were visitors of the said drug den and are residents of the above-mentioned province.
Further, arrested suspects will be facing charges for violation of RA 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
This successful anti-drug operation was conducted by operatives of Regional Intelligence Unit of PRO10, Regional Drug Enforcement Unit, City Drug Enforcement Unit, Iligan City Police Office -Station 5, and PDEA ROX Lanao del Norte Provincial Office together with its’ Seaport Interdiction Unit.
