The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board X published Wage Order No. RBX-21 on June 2, 2022, granting a P25 increase in the daily minimum wage of workers in private establishments of all sectors / industries, bringing the minimum wage to P356-P390 upon its effectivity on June 18, 2022.
A second tranche would be given on December 16, 2022, where workers in areas under Wage Category 1 & 3 would be given a P15 increase, while those in Wage Category 2 & 4 would be given P22. This would bring the minimum wage in Wage Category 1 & 2 to P393-P405 and those in Wage Category 3 & 4 to P378-P390.
Wage Category 1 (Cities of Cagayan de Oro and Iligan / Municipalities of Tagoloan, Villanueva and Jasaan)
Wage Category 2 (Cities of Malaybalay, Valencia, Gingoog, El Salvador and Ozamiz / Municipalities of Opol, Maramag, Quezon, Manolo Fortich and Lugait)
Wage Category 3 (Cities of Oroquieta and Tangub / Municipalities of Laguindingan, Mambajao and Balingasag)
Wage Category 4 (All other areas not covered under the above categories / Retail/service establishments with not more than 10 workers)
